Our journey

You see, a singular hub for collecting and sharing places has yet to exist. Sure, there’s an onslaught of publications that curate traveling listings and put together recommendations. And there are definitely plenty of apps with opinions from unfamiliar faces on hotels, restaurants, and the like.

But there wasn’t a single place to share our favorite places and to discover the favorite places of our favorite people…until now.

No more combing blogs, no more scrolling through feeds, no more “where did I write that down?” No more haphazardly throwing together Google docs and spreadsheets. No more bugging that friend who took that trip that one time.

That’s where Camber comes in. It’s a place for people to share their favorite spots, to plan their next adventure and to discover near or far.

Our co-creators

Camber is the brainchild of Lauren Wolfen and Mady Maio: two friends who struck up a working relationship based on a shared interest and frustration.

The duo wanted to create a tool for a community whose needs were unaddressed: A generation who values exploration and experience more than any other.

During quarantine, they put their heads together to create Camber so it would be ready the second we could get back to the going. Many Sweetgreen salads and a lot of laughs later, Camber is now ready, and we can’t wait to see ya around!
